Dosage: Swallow caplet with water. Do not chew. Adults: 1 caplet. Children 10-14 years: use Pepto-Bismol caplet (262mg) or Pepto-Bismol chewables, 3-9 years: Use Pepto-Bismol liquid. For children under 3 years, consult a physician. Repeat every to 1 hour as needed. Do not exceed 8 caplets in 24 hours. Use until diarrhea stops but not more than 2 days. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.

Caution: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of accidental ingestion, contact your doctor or a Poison Control Centre. Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long term corticosteroid treatment). Consult a doctor before using if you are taking medication (especially immune suppressing drugs), if you are taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy, or if you are pregnant/nursing.
