N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a derivative of the dietary amino acid l-cysteine. NAC scavenges free radicals and decreases oxidative stress produced by heavy metals to support antioxidant defence. It is also a precursor to the antioxidant glutathione, and supplemental NAC increases tissue levels of glutathione.

Recommended Dosage: (Adults) Take 1 capsule daily with a meal or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Do not use this product if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have kidney stones.

Medicinal Ingredients: (per capsule): N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine 600 mg, Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate) 2.1 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water).
